Journal Entry Answer
I think using biotechnology as art is pretty cool and also creepy. The way these scientist make thier art is very interesting. They produce real meat without killing animals by removing cells from a living animal and then growing them in a lab. Not only is it art its also a solution to stop us from killing so many animals for are stomachs. Now that technology has gone further, to make art out of meat would not need to have an animal killed. Scientist who make this art, also know they can grow the meat and eat it, so we wouldn't need to kill animals. We as humans kill so many animals because most of us think they don't have value to live. But William Saletan states that it is not true.
It's time to stop killing meat and start growing it

The case for eating meat is like the case for other traditions: It's natural, it's necessary, and there's nothing wrong with it. But sometimes, we're mistaken. We used to think we were the only creatures that could manipulate grammar, make sophisticated plans, or recognize names out of context. In the past month, we've discovered the
same skills in
birds and dolphins. In recent years, we've learned that crows fashion leaves and metal
into tools. Pigeons
deceive each other. Rats
run mazes in their dreams. Dolphins teach their young to
use sponges as protection. Chimps can
pick locks. Parrots can
work with numbers. Dogs can
learn words from context. We thought animals weren't smart enough to deserve protection. It turns out we weren't smart enough to realize they do.

I have read this article and can say for my self it is a good thing that we can grow meat now. I think scientist somewhere in there heads have an art state of mind to come up with a piece of art like
Victimless Meat. Even scientist can get bored of just finding cures and stuff so in there spare time they have something fun to do.
